Problem

Imagine 6 kids sitting in a circle, in this order: Arn, Bob, Cyd, Dan, Eve, Fon.

They take turns counting out loud, starting from 11. Arn says 11, Bob says 22, Cyd says 33, and so on around the circle.

A kid leaves the circle if the number they say is either a multiple of 77 (like 77, 1414, 2121, …\ldots) or contains the digit 77 (like 77, 1717, 2727, …\ldots). After a kid leaves, the next kid in the circle says the next number, and the counting keeps going.

Who is the last kid still in the circle?

Pick an answer.

(A)

(B)
Bob
(C)
Cyd
(D)

(E)
